  • Angle Sensors

    ASM GmbH

Angle sensors of the PRAS/PRDS series are based on a contact-free and absolute measurement principle. The position sensing element is a permanent magnet.

  • Distance Sensor Technology

Inductive sensors - Baumer Holdings AG

Inductive sensors measure the position changes of metal objects without contacting them. The ever increasingly optimized repeatability paired with the outstanding precision in measuring paths, angles, and positions when applied increase the productivity of every machine.

  • Pin-Line™ Vertisocket™

    Series 0517 - Aries

Pin-Line Vertisockets. For mounting components, jumpers, etc., at right angle to PC board. Available 1 to 25 positions; cuttable to any number desired.

  • Incremental Encoders

    SICK Sensor Intelligence

Versatile, compact and flexible – Incremental encodersIncremental encoders are used when retention of absolute position upon power loss is not required. These encoders provide information about the position, angle and number of revolutions. The number of lines per revolution determines the resolution. The current position can be determined by counting these pulses from a reference point. Upon activating the machine, a reference run to the reference point is required to determine the absolute position of the encoder.

  • Stepper Motors

    CAES

Stepper motors provide precise motion without the need for position feedback or commutation. Our stepper motors are available in unipolar or bipolar configuration and 1º to 90º step angles.

  • Reliable CAN Measurement Technology

CNT evo CAN MM Series - CSM Products, Inc.

The CNT evo is a high-precision measurement module designed for measuring frequencies, pulse widths, incremental displacement measurements, rotation angles, position measurement, event counting and period measurements.

  • 2-28 Vrms Input, 2-115 Vrms Exc, 47 Hz - 1 kHz Freq

    SDx - North Atlantic Industries

Synchros and Resolvers are transformer-type voltage/current transducers that convert a shaft or other rotating device's angular position and/or velocity to a multi-wire AC electrical signal. Both deliver signals proportional to the Sine and/or Cosine of the shaft angle. A Resolver-to-Digital or a Synchro-to-Digital converter is used to convert these signals to a digital output corresponding to the shaft angle and/or velocity.

  • Synchro/Resolver to Digital Converters

    Analog Devices Inc.

Resolvers and synchros are transducers that convert the angular position and/or velocity of a rotating shaft to an electrical signal. Both deliver signals proportional to the sine and/or cosine of the shaft angle. A resolver-to-digital or synchro-to-digital converter converts these signals to a digital output corresponding to the shaft angle and/or velocity. ADI’s family of RDCs and SDCs offer solutions for these applications.

  • Absolute Optical Encoder Kit Version

    A2K - U. S. Digital

The A2K absolute encoder is a non-contacting optical rotary position sensor which reports the shaft angle within a 360 deg. range. As opposed to incremental encoders, the A2K reports the absolute position rather than the change in position. When powered up, it does not require a home cycle, even if the shaft was rotated while the power was off. In multi-turn mode, it tracks the position in a 32-bit counter as long as the power supply is maintained. Internally, an infrared LED flashes through a circular bar code onto a linear array sensor. The microcontroller decodes the image into a unique position. All user programmable parameters such as resolution, origin, direction and mode are permanently stored in an internal EEPROM

  • Non-contacting Position Sensors

    Vishay Intertechnology, Inc.

For use in harsh environments, Vishay offers non-contacting position sensors based on Hall Effect technology. Linear displacement, rotational (single- and multi-turn), and kit design options all provide a full 360° measurement range with no dead angles and very long life, since there is no wear and tear on sensor elements. Applications for Vishay’s non-contacting position sensors include any system where vibration, shock, or dithering is to be expected, such as embedded applications in vehicles.

  • Goniophotometer

    GMS2000 - OptCom Company, Ltd

In this goniophotometer, the tested luminaire rotates in the prescribed burning position and around the vertical axle and a reflecting mirror rotates around the horizontal axle, meanwhile, a synchronous axle will rotate toward the opposite direction synchronously. The combined motion of the luminaire and mirror permit luminous measurement at the direction of any horizontal or vertical angle without tilting the luminaire, therefore, the luminous intensity will be not variation. The photometer head located at a fixed position of the limiting photomet- ric distance in front of the reflecting mirror to gather the light in each direction.

  • EZ-Glider Position Control Telescoping Torque Arms

    Mountz Inc.

The position control telescoping torque arms help manufacturers detect and eliminate costly screw-fastening errors during the assembly process. Position Control telescoping torque arms are designed to reduce the risk of improperly fastened screws, ensuring that every screw is in the correctly tightened in the correct sequence. Using the EZ-Glider Position Control torque arm is like putting the eyes and ears of a quality control manager where they are needed most - right on the assembly area. The EZ-Glider Position Control telescoping torque arm consists of a torque reaction arm with encoders mounted at the base and a control box. The control box is used for programming and it tracks the axis movement by converting angle counts to the precise position of the screwdriver. The location is calculated from encoder values, allowing the operator to easily teach the torque arm a programmed sequence pattern and then use it to control the assembly process

  • IO-Link Sensors for Motion Control

    ifm efector, inc.

*Encoder for precise position determination and linear measurement*Defined pulse sequence for the reliable detection of rotational speeds*Inclination sensors for precise measurement of angles of inclination on X and Y axes*High measurement accuracy across the total angular range in two axes*High protection rating for the requirements of harsh industrial environments

  • Synchro Simulator

    SPA-CASE - Computer Conversions Corporation

The Synchro Simulator has two modes of operation: Static and Dynamic. The mode of operation is selected by the position of the mode switch. In the static mode, the thumbwheel switches select the output angle. In the dynamic mode, the speed and direction switches determine the rate and direction of synchro outputs. Self test circuitry continuously monitors and displays the output.
